My Top 12 Finds

In preparation for my treasure hunting this weekend at the antique fair, I have been making endless LISTS!!! I have about a dozen customer requests for certain items people have seen in my Etsy shop, in magazines or elsewhere. In addition, I have my own list of what I call my "staple" items that I always try to keep in my shop. These particular items always sell well and fast! You could say they are my favorite tag-sale items that I will never pass up. So I have gathered a list for you of past finds that fly off the shelves. I hope to stock up accordingly this weekend!! Here goes...
Vintage Candle Holders...
all shapes, sizes and styles. Painted, distressed
and sold as a matched set...voila!
Vintage Florentine Trays...
the bright blues, aquas and greens
tend to be favorites.
Vintage Ornate Easels...
painted ivory or white...great sellers.
Vintage Ornate Frames...
painted and distressed showing loads of character!
Vintage Skeleton Brass Keys...
sometimes just perfect as is,
other times upcycled with a colorful can of paint!

I just sold a set yesterday to a bride who plans
to give them to her new husband...keys to her heart
and soul. How sweet is that?
Vintage Cane Chairs....
the cane must be in perfect condition or
I will pass it up. I like to paint and distress
the wood chair adding that shabby rustic touch.
Vintage Aqua Mason Jars...
can't keep these in stock if they are priced right!

Vintage Shabby Foot Stools...
this one happens to be a milking stool,
but these are great sellers for the rustic farmhouse.
Antique Bird Cages...
repainted to a soft white or aqua blue....hot item!
Vintage Toleware Trays...
once again, blues and greens are a hot commodity.
I try to find trays that are in fairly good condition
without too many rust spots or scratches.

Old shutters, painted and shabbied up for the rustic cottage.
Vintage Book Bundles tied with ribbon...easy cottage decor.

Have a great day....
