Friday I'm In Love...feature #9

This friday I am in love with chairs~preferably of the chic and shabby vintage variety, but generally anything with interesting character. I am particularly drawn to old chairs. I love the shabby, chippy, rustic awesomeness of a vintage find. I like curves and detail as opposed to modern straight lines in a piece of furniture. I guess that's the girly side of me. A good accent chair can really set the tone for a room and add character and warmth. I know there are a ton of reproductions out there, but the best ones, in my opinion, are those old salvaged finds that are transformed with a few coats of paint and distressing and maybe even a little reupholstering with some chic fabric. When I see a discarded old chair, I immediately start dreaming of ways to give it new life.
These are the projects I love the most.

I shared a post a few months back on old chairs and since then I have found a handful of new selections to inspire you today. Some of these are authentic vintage and refurbished chairs and a few are reproductions, but they are all fabulous and will give you loads of inspiration to seek out that perfect accent chair that your home may be missing!
