"It seems that everyone has a favorite Guess image or a model from the campaigns that they remember very distinctly," said Paul Marciano, chief executive and creative director of Guess. "We decided it would be interesting to celebrate those memorable images by bringing back some of these iconic pieces that were in the previous campaigns."
Some of those pieces include a reworked bustier ($98) that was first worn by Claudia Schiffer in a 1990 campaign, a daisy printed jean ($138) and gingham tie-front shirt ($59) from a 1992 campaign with Eva Herzigova, and Marciano's favorite item in the collection, the three-zip Marilyn jean, the first jean Guess ever sold, modernized with a lower rise. The collection became available this week at Guess.com.

I remember well my junior year in high school. We had just moved from Kansas to Florida and the fashion of the day was a bit more progressive in the south than that of Topeka, Kansas. We wore Levi's 501 button-fly jeans in the midwest, but it was all about the Guess brand down south. I can still picture the wardrobe of my soon to be best friend...Guess galore. She had the jeans, sweatshirts, jackets, cool tops. Everything with that iconic triangle label for all to admire. I wanted to be just like her. That was my introduction to the world of Guess. Amazing that thirty years later, not only am I shopping with my thirteen year old daughter for this infamous brand, but I am still filling my own closet with the styles and fashions of Guess. A legend in it's own time still going strong.

Wow, these pictures are a blast from the past and my teenage years, I remember so many of these from my magazines! I may have to pick up that gingham top from the 30th anniversary collection, it's adorable!
