Gray is controlled and inconspicuous and is considered a color of compromise, perhaps because it sits between the extremes of black and white. Gray is a perfect neutral, which is why designers often use it as a background color. The color gray affects us physically by unsettling us and creating expectations.

I agree - grey is a wonderful neutral in all its shades and I love to wear it often instead of black which is sometimes to harsh for me. I love the nail polish here and the gorgeous draped dress. So elegant.

I love these pics! Gray is a color I love on a rainy day when I want to curl up somewhere cozy and read a book! I think it is my favorite winter color!
