Closet Inspiration

I have been putting off the big closet clean-out for about a month now.  I'm an extremely organized and tidy person, but for some reason, I have been finding better and more appealing projects to tackle lately...like blogging! I think I'm addicted. Just ask my family. But back to the closet thing, it was time. Time for a major re-evaluation of all that was packed into my very small closet space. You know you really have to be in the right mood otherwise you will convince yourself that the dress hanging in the back from ten years ago is still really cute and you will hang it right back up. Will you honestly ever wear it again? Probably not, but if you go into this project with that wimpy attitude nothing will get thrown out! Am I right? So I waited for the day when I was feeling very black and white about things, and that day just happened to be this past Sunday. I didn't even bother with a fashion show of past relics...nope, just sorted it all into the Ebay bag, the Goodwill bag or the trash bag. Bada bing bada boom. Done!
I rearranged a bit, keeping dresses, skirts, tops, pants and jackets all compartmentalized and arranged by color. Shoes, bags, belts and swimsuits all got the once over as well and only the best of the best made the cut. It's so wonderful! Now I'm ready to go shopping for fall and fill it all right back up. Isn't it great to be a female?

A few fabulous walk-ins that will leave you drooling and maybe just a little bit inspired...

  1. I need to go through and purge in my closet, I swear I did it like 6 months ago and I'm back to being cluttered. How did it happen??? Although I'm drooling over some of these walk ins!

    1. Oh, no! I used an ink stamp and then sealed it. I don't think I would have the patience to hand-paint each one!

    1. It's the thought of doing it that's the worst, but once you get started, you're right it's not that bad!
