To be lost in a sea of pink...
There is this magnificent pink flowering tree on the grounds at the school my daughter attends that just began it's annual bloom this past week. The blossoms are a soft cotton candy pink and they envelop every branch and the ground below as if a rug has been spread out beneath. It's a very short window of blooming that takes place each year about this time and I am in awe each time I drive up to the school. I told myself I would photograph it last year and before I knew it, I had missed that window. The branches went bare and the fallen blooms began to fade. I am determined to capture the brilliance this year. So...this gorgeous tree was the inspiration behind my post today...to be lost in a sea of pink. I think I could go missing for awhile and be quite content if I had these pink inspirations to keep me company.
